As some of you know, this was the big week for potty training Andrew. Dylan's off school because it's Reading Week and we'd given Andrew until he turned 3.5 (on Feb.10) to initiate it on his own. When he got up on Sunday morning we dressed him in underwear and told him that diapers were just for sleeping from now on. 3 changes of clothes in an hour later we were starting to doubt ourselves. He wore a pull-up to church and had another accident that night but he has been dry for the past 2 days, always asking to use the potty when he needs to go. The only glitches have been that he's not quite sure when he has to have a bm (lots of false alarms and one accident) and he now wants to take his diaper off while he's sleeping, which he does after we leave his room. He was dry when he woke up from his nap yesterday but not so successful this morning. All in all it's been a very positive experience and we are happy that Andrew's taken to wearing his Spiderman underwear so easily. He tells everyone who asks that his diapers were starting to bug him and that's why he's wearing underwear now :) Thanks to everyone who offered advice and support!
